Founded in 2010 with the assistance and encouragement of the RCT Carers Support Project, (for past and present carers) with  a six weeks creative writing course mentored by author / poet Mike Church at the Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd. We are delighted to say that our group patron is renowned author Catrin Collier.

The group have continued to meet on a monthly basis but is now open to all who share a love of the written word. We meet on the first Friday of every month at Pontypridd Museum from 10:00am-12:00pm, there are toilet facilities and a lift access to where we meet. Over refreshments we discuss various topics on which we write, plus consider past and future projects we have participated in (further details on the group’s Facebook page). We also arrange for guest speakers to visit the museum.

Membership is £2 month we also give the opportunity to those who wish to become Guest Members if they are unable to attend such meetings.

Our publications are entitled “Handle with Care”.
