Raine Geoghegan was born in the Welsh valley’s. He mother was a Romany traveller from Middlesex, her father, a Welshman from Aberbargoed. She has worked as an actor, dancer, choreographer and workshop facilitator. She founded ‘Earthworks’, a women’s theatre company in 1993 and went on to direct plays and musicals. Following an accident and a long spell of chronic illness she turned to writing. Known mainly as a poet she has also written short prose, monologues, articles and a full length children’s play.
