Kathy Miles

Kathy Miles was born in Liverpool, but moved to Wales in 1972, and worked for many years at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, where she completed an MA in Creative Writing. She has published three collections of poetry: The Rocking Stone, The Shadow House and Gardening With Deer. She has been widely published in magazines such as Acumen, Orbis, The Interpreter’s House, Planet, Zoomorphic Magazine, ARTEMIS poetry, and The Lonely Crowd. She is a previous winner of the Bridport Prize, the PENfro, the Welsh Poetry Competition, and the Wells Festival of Literature Poetry Competition. She is also co-editor of The Lampeter Review, and judged the Welsh Poetry Competition a number of times. She lives near Aberaeron and has just released another collection of poetry – Vanishing Point – published by Palewell Press.
