Steve Garrett (1950, E) is from Cardiff and writes ‘poems for the people’. His heartfelt writing is a response to some of the ‘big issues’ of our challenging times, from global warming to relationships – usually with a humorous perspective – aiming to entertain as well as inform and intrigue. Steve’s wry observations of life and love are wary but not cynical – still hopeful, despite life’s many paradoxes and disappointments; and inspired by the belief that insightful words can help us know and appreciate each other better.
