Lily Hayden (Sarah Hayden-Woods) (1982, E) was born and raised in Newport. She graduated with a Business degree from the University of South Wales and enjoyed a successful career in Financial Services before taking a year out to write contemporary fiction. She writes light-hearted fiction in the ‘chick lit’ genre, but has also penned a Young Adult dystopian novel under the alias ‘SJ Woods’. A mother to four children Lily is passionate about equality, animals and the planet.
